Always fun and entertaining. At times the crowds can be overwhelming, but if you prepare for it in advance it is a blast

A must while visiting Philly! Besides the Philly Cheese Steak, Soft Pretzels and Basset's Ice Cream. Get yourself a pork and broccoli rube sandwich. It is severed on the famous Italian torpedo roll with aged provolone cheeses, the most delicious pork and tasty broccoli robe. You will love it!

Oh my, where to start? This is Philey's Little Italy and is not a single market but a sting of shops and markets spilling out into the street with fresh seafood, fruit and vegetables, cheeses and meats. It extends about 6 blocks. There is everything you might want here - much Italian (sausage, pasta, chocolates, etc.) and some Oriental. Don't... More

There is nothing better than a winter morning walk through the Italian Market. It can remind you of what it use to be like in America with all the little shops and lots of Italian being spoken. It was also memorialized by Rocky!

My friend and I were in Philly for the weekend and we decided to check out the Italian Market on Sunday. We walked from South St. We had no idea we would have to walk through the ghetto to get there. We walked countless blocks only to find a few stands. It seemed more like Chinatown that Little Italy, which... More

Walk through on a Saturday or Sunday morning and enjoy the sights and smells. If you drive down 6th, you can find free residential parking for 2 hours. Park and head over to the 9th and walk up from Washington. The Italian Market area is a 5-10 min walk north of Geno's and Pat's (the cheese steak places). You'll find... More

It's crowded and dirty and busy and i you can't find it here, it's probably out of season. Our usual stops are Fante's (kitchen supplies) and Claudio's (cheese) and the Spice/tea shop with the carousel horse out front but there are plenty of places to eat and shop. Park off-street half a block up on washinton st at the mexican... More
