We really enjoyed Loncoln's Lost Treasure. It was a great alternative way to learn a little history and visit some Gettysburg sites off the beaten track . I really recommend this for family's and groups.

Our family of five had the Lincoln's Lost Treasure experience during a summer vacation. Everyone in our family (ages 10 to 48) loved it. From the moment you meet the first characters, it's like you're living in a movie adventure. All the clues and the characters you meet along the way are fun and fascinating. I wish there were similar... More

My husband and I decided to participate in Lincoln's Lost Treasure on our family trip to Gettysburg since our two sons (then 8 and 10) are fans of the Amazing Race and this looked like a similar type of clue-solving adventure. It turned into exactly the sort of experience that we hoped it would be! They had a great time... More

We had a great deal of fun hunting for Lincoln's Lost Treasure. It's patterned after the movie National Treasure and you meet interesting characters (actors) along the way who provide clues to assist you as you meander through Gettysburg. My only concern was that I would have liked to learn more history during the search.

My wife and I took our two kids, then 12 and 13, on the Lincoln's Lost Treasure adventure. We had a great time, very unique experience. We talked about it for days after and highly recommend it to our friends and family.

I went this last weekend with my boyfriend, knowing full well that there would probably be families with kids and some parts would be more catered to a younger audience. Families bring in the most money, so it makes sense for any tourist-activity to have easier codes and such for kids (in reference to some other post). Well.. We had... More

I agree with the reviewer who said that its better if you have younger children who like deciphering a code and following maps. I felt like we were just pretty much being led back and forth around town. And it wasn't inexpensive.

Lincolns Lost Treasure is a MUST DO when visiting Gettysburg! My 2 teen girls and I had a blast this past weekend (August 21, 2011). We were grouped together with 2 other families. We all worked together to figure out the clues and had a great time walking through the streets of Gettysburg chatting with each other making sure no... More

This is a great activity for anyone! It's particularly fun if you're willing to "get into it" and join in some acting yourself. I recommend participating a part of a group--we had elementary age to college age kids in our group--because part of the fun is being in on something that the unsuspecting tourists and others around you aren't aware...
