I recently spent a few days in Gettysburg and enjoyed this cinema enormously. The films were very interesting and not just run of the mill. The staff were very friendly and the cinema itself is just gorgeous.

My husband and I spent three days here for a Progressive Rock Festival. The concerts and venue were actually very nice. While we would have liked to have seen more seating available in the lobby areas for those who left the concert early and were waiting for others in their party, our biggest complaint was the parking garage behind the... This theater has live performances and has a dual movie venue that shows current movies. I definitely recommend.

Was last there in Feburary to see the "All New" Original Tribute to The Blues Brothers. Excellent show, they had a huge set, a seven piece band with three back up singers and it was great! We have seen several different live performances here and this was one of our favorites, the other being the Blind Boys of Alabama. The... More

Last year we did a little road trip to Gettysburg to go see the Preservation Hall Jazz Band and there were not many decent choices for pre-show food and the audience skewed much older than I expected. We've seen Preservation Hall before and don't get me wrong in that you're not going to see many people under 40 at one... More

This is one of the premier theaters in Pennsylvania. It was renovated about six years ago so that it resembles its glorious past. All seats have a great view, and the chairs are comfortable. The staff goes out of its way to make you feel welcome. It has it all: live performances, opera from the NY met, and classic films.
