Atlantic beach is a family orented area.Or an exciting night out. In the day time atlantic beach is open and includes close by free parking.There is a town center including small shopes and coffee cafes. An ice cream prleor or a candy stop at the localy known shelby's. lees ice cream also offeres many exiting treats and it right across... more

This is the best beach I've been to. The location is great - there's many hotels within walking or short driving distance. Parking is free and very close to the many beach entrances. Lifeguards are always there and attentive but are spread apart so they don't bother you unless you're in danger. The sand is flat and you can either... more
