The Cummer is an excellent museum with a varied art collection which is worth at least a few hours to see. It backs up to the St. Johns River with wonderful gardens and a lovely setting. more

It is small (comparable to the Gardner Museum in Boston) but always feels bright and airy, never dark and claustrophic like the Gardner.
