This was a waste of money. Very small and not much to see for the money. The worker was nice is the only good thing I can say.

It was neat to see the jail from the opening scenes of "The Goonies" but there was very little historical information about the building posted, and the scanners that run the film production sets were all not working when we were there. Thankfully, our tickets were free with our B&B room, so it wasn't a monetary loss.
The building is really cute as the old jail. The museum has a couple fun moments, but it's small. Don't expect too much, but it's quaint. A little pricey.
Great stop, especially if you're a Goonies fan! Inside the old jail house, you can read about movies filmed in Oregon and play with real movie set equipment.

We were very excited about seeing the Oregon Film Museum while we there, since a large number of films or scenes from films have been shot in Oregon. Unfortunately the name "Oregon Film Museum" is a complete misnomer! There is next to nothing there that is not about the "Goonies"...
