No other state park in Oregon seems to have as many things to do both in and near the park as Ft. Stevens. No matter what your interest, you can probably find something to do here. Inside the park, you can go swimming, fishing, beach walking, hiking, bike riding (on 7 miles of paved bike trails), explore the many forts,... more

Every year we come back to Fort Stevens State Park. It is one of our favorite places. We love exploring the Fort. Be sure and take flashlights, even during the day. Some of the rooms can be dark. Take the guided truck tour! It is a blast and the tour guides really know there stuff and it's fairly priced. more

My husband and I went to Fort Stevens specifically for the half buried ship on the beach. It was a photo-op for everyone on the beach. Children were running around having fun and checking out the sea life in what once were the ballasts (spl?) of the ship. It was all very neat and interesting to see. more

We had never visited this section of the coast before and were wanting to see the north coast. We were able to get full hook-ups... more

History lovers will enjoy exploring the Wreck of the Peter Iredale and the Fort Stevens State Historical Site. Both sites are not only fascinating for... more

we love Ft. Stevens. Have visited about a half dozen times and will continue to visit. we usually camp in the designated camping spots. which means fire rings and close neighbors. we are too lazy to find a place to camp and hike in our own gear. we are usually there for no longer than 3 days and 2 nights.... more

Went to see the Peter Iredale ship wreck, didn't have enough time to see fort. Had a great time we walked around the ship and later sat around an abandoned bon fire with our dog. One of the downsides was that water was way to cold to go in, it was nice that there were bathrooms. We would have stayed... more
