We spent a hour here before an Orioles game. A 3 block walk from the ballpark. This is the home where the Babe was born . Well kept up. A great little film narrated by Mike Wallace plays I the entry room - but you must stand to watch it. lasts at least 15 minutes. The museum is small. But... More

We did the combined sports museum and the babe Ruth museum. This was a small exhibit but interesting. If you have 30 minutes to spare and are around Camden yards Its worth a look.

As a baseball fan and historian, I was disappointed in the Babe Ruth Museum. It lacked a lot of info and was disjointed - there was no straight timeline and they left a lof ot questions unasnwered - like what happened to his first wife. He went from one to another - with no explanation. That said, the Babe Exhibit... More

When people hear "Babe Ruth" they think Yankees or Red Sox, but no... It all started here. See the actual row house 'hood where the Babe was born, tour a house recreated to be like it was during the day and see lots of Babe memorabilia that no one else has.

Wish they gave out candy bars. Although chocolate and peanuts were bound to come together at some point, the fact that it happened at this humble abode is astonishing. Baltimore's own Baby Ruth birthplace is truly a site to behold. From the cracked wooden floors to the sun stained roof, no candy bar will ever be conceived in a more... More

The museum is small with some nice memorabilia of Babe Ruth's life and tenure in baseball.

This house if the foundation of Baltimore baseball history. It contains artifacts from much more than The Babe's past, and it's been well maintained in an area very near the University of Maryland Hospital complex. Parking can be a little bit of a challenge, but pick a nice weather day and if necessary you can walk there with ease from... More

Having grown up with a love of baseball and the Ruthian lore that was then so prevalent, I had to see the birthplace and museum devoted to the legendary Sultan of Swat. My elderly father, who was born the year that the Babe hit 60 home runs, and I visited during the week following Memorial Day while we were on... More
