The water taxi took us to the fort where we spent sevearl hours learning about American History. It was well worth the trip and the price was very reasonable. We learned a lot. The staff was very knowleable. If you visit Baltimore, dont' miss this opportunity. more

My husband and I visited on a crisp and beautiful September day. The film at the visitor's center gave a brief historical account of what led up to the fateful event that inspired our national anthem. The fort grounds were interesting to explore, and the view was beautiful. The "museum" portion, recreation of soldiers' quarters, uniforms, etc was also interesting.... more

We took the water taxi to Ft. McHenry 6/1/09 and it was very convenient, although extremely windy and cold at 10 a.m. on the boat. Went to Fort McHenry day before Memorial Day - not crowded at all. enjoyed the film before touring the fort and the visit to the fort was awesome - made you realize some of the sacrifices men and women have made so we can have our freedom. Highly recommend more
