went to the Walters Art Museum and then did Sunday Brunch at a lovely hotel in the Mt Vernon district of Baltimore...great way to spend the day
Just love the architecture, from the Brownstones to the Square to the Peabody, the Belvedere, the Walters...plus the Restaurant scene: SottoSopra, City Cafe, Brewers Art... The book fair, the lighting of the Washington Monument...
I've lived in the neighborhood for the last 14 years. It's diversity is a huge part of it's charm. It's got a variety of restaurants & bars to choose from. Really hard to get out of this hood!
This area has experienced somewhat of a rennaisance in recent years, partly due to the real estate boom in the mid 2000s.
great restaurants in this area a bit north of downtown. easier to get to from the suburbs and nice atmosphere.
walk around a bit, they don't make them like this anymore
A city circle near the Walters Art Museum and Peabody Conservatory with George Washington Monument in the middle. Site of many movie shoots of Barry Levinson and other directors. Pleasant place to be.
Cool city town. Great for coffee shops, book stores, etc
Some of the best architecture in the city for sure! Some REALLY nice restaurants
