This historic fort is located underneath the Golden Gate Bridge and you could get some great views of the bridge on a clear day. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge from Fort Point is magnificant; you are actually below the bridge looking up at it. Tucked beneath the GGB on the San francisco side is Fort Point. At the moment it is only open a few days a week to to the bridge undergoing a sysmic refit.
