This facility is a gem in the rough. Problem is they have been working to improve it for the last 12 years and have made very little progress. Parking is a BIG problem, very few spaces, and what is available is on dirt side streets. Admission was cheap, I think $5. The grounds are dusty & muddy. If you are... more

WOW- take your favorite train buff or child to this great site! The restored trains and buildings are great history lessons about the city of Savannah. Restoration is still in progress, and it's interesting to see the process of bringing back the roundhouse.
