My kids and I visited the JGL house during a weekend visit. My daughter is a Junior Girl Scout. The house is well worth a visit, even if you are not involved in Scouts. Its a beautiful home with alot of history. more

We arrived at the same time as a girl guide (scout) visit but that meant we could watch the interesting video about JGL's life. We enjoyed it so much we saw it again before we left!! Guides were very good, informative, welcomed questions and were eager to please. Davenport House guides go here please and see how it should be... more

House is beautiful. Most furnishings are original. four seperate ghosts haunt the home but not Juliet Gordon Low herself. suggest Ghost Walk - Ghost Talk tour of he house at night with a guide. Spooky with eyewitness accounts of spectral encounters. Great fun. The regular daytime tours don't discuss the hauntings. more

We weren't even thinking of viewing this home, but our waiter at Vic's recommended it. It was one of the highlights of our visit! The docents really knew their stuff, and it was a fascinating tour. Fun for all ages! more

My 7 yr old daughter and I took the tour of the home and garden and I was so impressed with the whole thing. The guide was a little abrupt at times, but I never knew how much Juliette Gordon Lowe accomplished in her lifetime. I now understand a little bit more about the reason behind the girl scouts. My... more

I didn't know much about Juliette Gordon Low before arriving at the house for a tour. I am so glad we went. Of all the home tours we did, this was by far the most interesting story of a person. The house is wonderful to look at, but Juliette's story is great. If you have a chance, check out this... more

An excellent place for Girl Scout Troops to visit. We had a group of 16 (10 girl scouts and 6 adults). Our troop was scheduled to be there from 9:30 - 4:00. We arrived a bit early and were sent on a scavenger hunt in two of the squares which was interesting, but had too much time. Don't arrive too... more

Juliette Gordon Low is a remarkable woman who contributed much to society. Her birthplace is a spectacular and a must see. It is restored beautifully to represent 1886 and features original Gordon furnishings and art from Juliette herself. You get a real sense of what life was like for the Gordons. I also enjoyed learning more about Juliette. She was... more

What really made the home was the outstanding tour guides and their knowledge of the home. The guides were based one in each room and they knew a great deal about the home and its former inhabitants. The home, garden and furnishings are beautiful and most are original to the home. A definite must see. more

I used to be in Girl Scouts, so this museum was really interesting. There's a tour guide there. It is supposed to be haunted by Juliette Gordon Low. more
