Vancouver Lake park is a nice park and a good attempt at saving a dieing lake. I happen to live on lake front propety and I have a wonderful vew. If you come to Vancouver Lake I recomend you come in the fall becuase the lake is often covered with a alge bloom in summer and is flooding in fall.... more
This now deing lake is a backwater and past chanel of the Wilamet river before the columbia changed its chanel.
