I must say that after reading aroung 100 of the reviews, I had some reservations about paying up the money. To start out, my wife and I have a 5 year old and a 10 year old. We parked in town and took the tram up to the top. Just a heads up, this is a fun ride for adults... More

Took my family to Ober Gatlinburg. The tram ride was neat- got some great pics. Once you get up there, there is a bear exhibit (pretty lame), a maze (pretty fun), the alpine slide (fun), and a few little kiddie rides and a very small putt putt golf. Also, an indoor skating rink (didn't do it.) The water slides were... More

it was our last night in the area so my wife and i decided to bite the bullet and take a ride up the mtn on the tram. The ride is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately the destination leaves lots to be desired. Skating rink, sled run, and a carousel is about all of interest. And be forewarned everything on top closes... More

We were going to buy the unlimited use wrist band for the park since all the attractions looked like fun and definatley a pay one price bracelet appeared to be the best bang for your buck. I am glad we did not get the wrist band prior to entering the amusement park area since almost all the attractons were not... More

We went up there looking for the bear cubs and none were there. There were 3 bears in a very depressing environment. I don't know much about bears, but the pond was almost empty, very little grass area, it just looked sad. The otters were very fun to watch. We really did not do much else. The tram ride was... More

The tram ride up to the park is great. The park itself.... Not so much. This could be and should be a wonderful attraction but it almost seems like an afterthought. So sad.

There are two ways to get to the park. If your staying in Gatlinburg you can take the Ober Gatlinbug cable tram, ( I suggest this because parking is another five dollars at the park and you don`t have to drive). If you`re staying on the surrounding mountains you can drive up. Your going to pay five dollars for parking,... More

We have a 3 yr and 8 mth old, so there wasn't a whole lot to do for them. I think this place is more for 5-10 yr olds. We saw the wildlife exhibit....the bears were cute, otters were feisty, and the caretaker that day was awesome and very friendly. Indoors was a very german feel and cute, my kids... More

My husband and I were looking for something different to do in Gatlinburg in the spring. We decided to check out Ober. Was talking to other people who said the tram can be crowded at times. So we decided to drive up the hill to Ober (3.5 miles from Gatlinburg) and save the $22. Once up there, we did take... More

This was a pleasant surprise. We came here to go on the alpine slide and found other activities. This is a nice hidden gem in Gatlinburg. They even had some food items that we are accustomed to back home at the snack bar. The view is great as well.
