Admission is free. There are docents at the farm house and guided tours of the mansion. Check the website for additional events. I've done the 3 hour walking tour including the farm house, gardens and mansion. I've attended "Manly Arts" day where we learned (hands on !!) how to do bayonet drills, sword fight on horseback and other things that... More

We have been there several times it is beautiful, the rangers are great and they take time to answer our questions and our kids questions.

This National Historic Site is one the the most beautiful places in America. The history is fascinating, the buildings and interiors are maintained with true dedication and the staff is knowledgable and friendly. The grounds are amazing! Give yourself plenty of time to take in the entire site, it's well worth the time.

The property is huge with several original buildings, including the Manson, overseer's house, slave quarters, barn, dairy, and also the grave yard. To visit this site you must enjoy history... More
