Probably one of the best places in the world to take long walks in a cool climate. There are beautiful tea estates that look like carpets of green, and wonderful waterfalls to see and even have a dip in. Its a wonderful pace with loads of tea factories in the region .. Tea island in short .. Temperature is really cold compared to the other regions in Sri lanka !! Relaxing atmosphere for a 1 or 2 day stay !!!

Sri Lanka is famous for it’s Ceylon Tea. The driver brought us to the Tea Factory and the staff introduced us the whole process of making different tea. It's hard for me to relate to the hype about this place. It's a chilly, nondescript, dirty village with some Tudor architecture and other Raj remnants.
