We were a group of friends looking for a hot spring to visit while in Yi-Lan county. We took the train to Jiaoxi and went to the Tourist Information Centre at Jiaoxi Park for suggestions. Chanced upon a brochure for Forest Bath and decided to check it out.

This hot spring is open from 4-8pm, and only 150$NT. Its authentic Japanese style, no swimsuits, and separated male/female. We had toured many Japanese onsen and were hoping to find a similar one like this in Taiwan. It was well worth it. In fact, we came back here a second time 2 weeks later it was so good.

This is referring to the hotspring at the city centre as provided free by the local governor. Good fun. There is a beer garden there which is really over-priced. Easier for you to walks steps away to the 7-11 or local Family Mart to get your cold beer to drink while soaking your feet in the hotspring.

The forest bath is nestled in the original landscape, with trees and bushes left untouched. Terraced fields have been set where hot spring vegetables and so on are planted all year round. Such a pleasurable moment here..
