Wonderful summer gardens, but also excellent tropical greenhouse for the winter, especially during christmas season when they have the additional Christmas train village set-up with model trains, choo-choo! more
These gardens are simply magnificent. One of the best botanical gardens I've ever visited. I saw the gardens on a beautiful September day. The Sunken Garden was lovely, and so were the Wildflower Garden and the Rock Garden. The Rock Garden has two streams running through it and the water sounds like a waterfall. Very peaceful. If you like flowers, be sure to visit the Olbrich Botanical Gardens. There are about 10 different styles of gardens, all beautiful. There is also the Thai Pavillion which is an impressive golden building that was a gift from the Thai government which has been placed in a garden setting with fountains and pools.
