I liked the whole experience from driving up in a Train, to the views from the Summit, the Beer and Food in the Restaurant and descending with the Cable Car, it is one of a life time Event.

It was a long way to go from where we staying in Zell for a morning skiing and as it is a glacier it's obviously bitterly cold in mid-winter

Visited Kitzsteinhorn in early in December so the lower area wasn't open but the glacier was exellent

It was nice, the restaurant at 2450m was very good.

We had a great day's ski-ing here - before the English holidays started. It was too busy for comfort after that. There was an amazing deal for kids (up to age 15) ski-ing on Saturdays - just 10 euros for the ski pass.

It's your end of season option when in our case Areithbahn was not offering top notch snow. It gets crowded in the morning and around noon. But the slopes are quite wide and numerous so you should enjoy yourself. Less 'chalet' options for a drink but quality skiing.
