There are two class semesters, fall and spring, with courses scheduled on the weekends, ranging from one to three days. Discounts on field classes are available for members of Joshua Tree National Park Association and Partners in Nature Education members. « less

Huge park, we hired a guide which enhanced the experience many fold. It was the second trip for my girlfriend in less than a year. What more can I say? Bring lots of film or memory cards...

SO quiet and peaceful..Bring your guitar and at night bring a jacket it is a very nice place to go!

We spent a day at the park and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There are hikes offering varying degrees of challenge, well defined in the park's brochure. The ranger at the entrance to the park was very helpful in advising us. We took one hike of moderate difficulty and found the scenery beautiful and the path well marked. We also took one... More
