The Sedlec Ossuary is a short train ride from Prague and is worth the effort. Round trip the excursion will take about 3 hours, as the actual attraction doesn't require much time. But it's really interesting to see all those bones made into sconces, chandeliers, coats of arms, etc. Plus the stacks of skulls - it's unreal and will leave... More

The Church is about 1km from Kutna Hora main station. Tickets cost is 60Kc or you can get a combination ticket that includes Sedlec + St.Marys + St. Barbara's together for 140Kc from the TI near the church. The place itself is quite small, 30 minutes seemed more than adequate.

The Chapel itself is not very big, but certainly, it has to be the most unique with its interesting and vast use of human bones, skulls for its various decorations. My kids loved it. It is a bit of a walk from the train station, but it is easy enough to find. Get their early before all the tours pass through and enjoy the meticulous arrangement of the human remains. If you can get past the fact that the church is covered in human bones, you can start to appreciate the time, work, and... More

This is actually called Sedlec Ossuary, a small church decorated with human bones. It is located in the suburb of Kutna Hora. It is estimated that there are approximately 40,000-70,000 human skeletons that make up all the decorations inside the chapel. The church is only worth about maybe a 15-30 minute visit, but a must see on your stop to... More
