It is a Point very close to downtown Skagway which offer a grat view of the ocean and Taiya Inlet. There is a picknick table few km down the trail for a lunch when the wind from the South is not howling.

I walk this trail practically every time I go to Skagway. It is close, not too long and has beautiful views and a fresh breeze. You can watch the cruise ships come in and out or look for seals.
This hike was short and flat, making it easy to navigate. The round trip from downtown Skagway is about an hour, but that includes getting to the trail which is just out-of-town near the small airport. The hike ends at a beautiful body of water. Overall, a good hike with young kids or individuals that cannot climb up the mountains.
