This is one of the best views of Seattle. The best time to go is at night and you can see the beautiful lights, sit on the beach, and enjoy a nice night with someone special. more

The area around Alki Beach is a wonderful spot to capture some images of downtown seattle, check out my pictures I took during the day - they came out so good I went back at night. more

Very nice beach, a favorite of locals and has good restaurants both just off the beach and in nearby neighborhoods. Can get very crowded during special events--for example its a local hotspot for July 4 but you should get there in the morning and prepare to camp to see the fireworks! more

Alki Beach is one of the best secrets of Seattle. Lots of locals know the area but not many tourists. There are tons of shops and miles of beach. All have magnificant views of downtown Seattle. IF you are on a visit to seattle I would highly reccomend that you spend your lunch time here at Alki beach. Take the water taxi over to Alki beach. It costs 3 dollars to ride over. Once you get there go to the Alki Crab and Fish which is located at the dock the water taxi docks at. The... more
