I hear that the city cut funding for this. Check it out before it is too late..

I love this conservatory. It is my go to on cold rainy days or anytime I need to think through a life issue.

This gem is on our must-see list along with the water tower in Volunteer Park. I especially enjoy visiting the Conservatory in winter when the dreary days make my soul call out for a flower fix. And we always take our visitors here and for a look at Seattle through the donut sculpture in front of the Asian Art Museum.

I have visited this place several times... i love it. It is free (though you can leave a donation) and it is great. I went to the conservatory in Denver (which had an expensive entrance fee) and did not enjoy it more. This is a small conservatory but highly enjoyable - I particularly like the cactus room. I also couple... More

A really nice, peaceful place to take a walk. Don't miss the water tower for great views of the city. The greenhouse is really neat - a wide variety of plants from all over the world.

We found this park at our last visit in September to Seattle. Recommended by a friend. We loved it. IS that the Black Hole Sun the SoundGarden sings about? The Water Tower was an easy walk up and the views spectacular. The Needle and surround area..wow. The Mansions in the area were something to behold. Plus broadway is right there... More

I have been to the conservatory several times and the orchids are always beautiful. One must also go up the water tower to see the great views from it.

We went here with some friends that live in the area and were pleasantly surprised! We were only by the area with the cool old water tower (yes, you can climb to the top and see the city and mountains--gorgeous!) and the ponds. Very pretty area! Great views!

Visited the Conservatory on the way to parking lot from Asian Art Museum. It was raining and the view of vibrant pinks and whites inside were too much to resist. There are several sections for different kinds of flowers. My favorite was the spring flowers where tulips, lillies, ferns, and an abundance of spring blossoms made the room unbelievable fragrant... Beautiful trees, old water tower, and other natural sights. Very relaxing and quiet and GREEN. Not a nice place to wander around in the rain.
