Everyone from Seattle told me not to carry an umbrella because only tourist carry umbrellas. Three days later I broke down. Umbrellas are awesome! It made visiting the Arboretum and Japanese Garden so much more pleasurable. more

I only had about an hour and a half to check out the arboretum. I spent all of that time in the fabulous Japanese tea garden. It was 5.00 a person to get in (rest of the arboretum is free), but it was worth every penny. The architect did a great job recreating the feel of an actual tea garden... more

This was a great place to spend a couple hours. The park is very pretty. It has several walking paths of varying degree. It is not a hiking park by any means, but a nice place to take an enjoyable stroll or run. more

Squirrels to tease the dog, beautiful trees and flowers to practice my photography skills. Free. Trails were good. Seemed to have lots of benches for sitting. I will be back soon, but next... more

Visited the Arboretum in June 2005. It is such beautiful and peaceful place! There are several paths to walk through the park, as well as a large grassy area in the middle for just relaxing. There is a marsh at one end where water birds gather. And admission is free. more
