There is a reason the tour starts in a bar, it's only after a few drinks that you will find this staged show entertaining. Apart from seeing the basements of some old buildings with props thrown around for good measure, this can only be described as a wast of time, money and a sad example of what tourists will be... more

Our tour was almost two hours (it was supposed to be and hour and half) and our tour guide talked too long. The jokes were pretty tired. Too long for really nothing to see but dark tunnels and junk. If it was 1/2 the price and half as long I may recommend it for the history value. more

FUN!

My grandparents came up from San Francisco and wanted to go on the tour. We had a great time from beginning to end. I can't wait to go again. more

a one-of-a-kind artefact like the seattle underground is brought to life in a unique way. my guide, gail, was hilarious and had many on the tour in stitches with her double entendre puns about seamstresses. an alternative to the boring, parochial way official history is often presented. you learn a lot on this tour without realising it, touching on many... more

This tour had been recommended to me by several people when my husband and I were planning our trip to Seattle. I was surprised how much tickets were, but my husband really wanted to go, so we pressed on. At the beginning, they give a facinating overview of Seattle's history. This was by far our favorite part of the tour.... more

When you first get inside, the guide sits up front on a desk and gives a fun, colorful history of the city. That part was perhaps the most interesting part of the tour (for me). After the presentation, they split us up into groups and the tour began. While they do warn that nothing has been restored, I wasn't quite... more

I was surprised at the size of the original group - probably 100 people - but we split it into three smaller groups for the tour which was more manageable. The tour itself gives a good overview of Seattle's history in an entertaining way, though the jokes are pretty corny. It's a little overpriced but would be a perfect rainy... more

We enjoyed the light-hearted presentation of Seattle history. My only critisism was the size of the tour group. It was 11am Sunday in early Fall which was probablythe most popular time of the day. The tour guide was great. She was a real commedienne. Those with negative comments must either be prudes or had another guide who was not as... more

If you're in Seattle, this is a great way to get a history lesson on the city in an entertaining way. The tour essentially takes you to three areas located underneath the sidewalks of 3 of the sketchiest blocks in Seattle. You can tell that the guides are delivering the same jokes in a mechanical fashion, but it's amusing nonetheless.... more

I suspect much depends on which tour guide you get and whether you enjoy the mix of vaudeville, adolescent humor, and Seattle history. My wife, I, and our two teenagers all loved the tour, and greatly enjoyed the lively, if corny, guide. It's nothing grand or spectacular, but it is a clever rendition of local history with musty infrastructure and... more
