We took our daughter because the website made it seem very hands-on, and I guess parts of it were. Between the crowds (several YMCA groups there that day) and not too many activities to choose from, our daughter had nothing to do. It felt like there were a lot of exhibits to read, but not much to explore (from a... more

Went to the Boeing Imax theatre for the 3D Under the Sea 45 minute film. The Imax is very high (60') and 80' wide. It wasn't the largest Imax I have been too (Universal City Walk is wider) but the 3D film was very good. We reached out as did the audience several times to attempt to touch the different... more

We went to the science museum with children ages 7 and 10 and some adult relatives. We had three 2-for-1 admissions through having purchased multiple copies of the entertainmen coupon book, and they handled these without question. Aside from occasionally dodging a school group, we did not feel crowded in the expansive museum, and I felt the exhibits were well-thought-out... more

My husband and I went to the Seattle Science Center last week and had a wonderful time. Price of admission includes one of the IMAX movies. The exhibits were fun and interesting. My favorite part was the beautiful butterfly house. They also have a new exhibit called Animal Grossology. You guessed it, it is a lot about the bodily functions... more

This was a fun place, Wow! Makes science fun! I think they have something for everyone and every age. There is so much to do and see. Our favorite place was the butterfly exhibit. It was so interesting to see all the butterflys in the different stages. They were beautiful. Loved that the Space Needle and huge food court is... more

This place was so filled with yelling kids you couldn't hear yourself think. About the only good thing I can recommend was the butterfly house. There's not much really to see beyond that. We went as part of a City Pass purchase, but I would never pay for this separately. more

The Pacific Science Center is your typical big city science museum with all the typical exhibits to entertain grade schoolers, but it's rather untypical as it's housed in the US Federal Pavilion left over from the 1962 World's Fair. Unfortunately the owners have really let it decay and become very dirty and depressing. The center facility is nearing 50 years... more

We took our normally frisky 7 year old son there, but we ended up trying out almost all the exhibits because he was interested.. The 3D Imax movie, Under the Sea (Free with Admission) was great, and also the live demo about the Physics of Bubbles was enjoyed by all. The Butterfly forest was full of beautiful butterflies-- see pics.... more

This was an amazing expierience. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loved this and so did I. It was incredible and so educational. A definite must see. Leave time to see an imax movie too we didn't and I was so bummed. more

We've been members for about a year, even though we don't live near Seattle. Since we visit Seattle several times a year, the free entry helped make this a much more affordable thing to do while there. Even with membership there are still costs involved, like parking, food, movies (sometimes your free passes do not apply to the most desirable... more
