Cap Hill is just the center of all the great nightlife in Seattle. There's so many bars, karaoke, and events happening that it's almost impossible to not go up there. I adore The hill and it will always be apart of me. I suggest that people go there at least once to experience Seattle's 'Gay Culture' and wonderful restaurants.

I live on capitol hill and there are tons of different things to do both during the day and at night. Different parks and bike trail, to bars and night clubs. Lots of fun. But if you are looking for extremely high end, fancy establishments most of these might not fit. A lot of the clubs/bars are suited for the... More

A favorite neighborhood with excellent restaurants and great bars. The shopping on Boradway is funky and great for a leisurely stroll during the day. I think Broadway can be a little sketchy in the evenings so just be ware and careful.

If you take Volunteer Park and the north end out of the picture, Capitol Hill has narrow streets with traffic rushing everywhere and there's simply nowhere to park. Although I used to love to go to the theater and Dilettante's Chocolates, I avoid the main area of Capitol Hill now because of the hubbub.

This district has tons of great food, shops, the most interesting hair colors, a wide array of piercings and lots of beer. You can't go wrong.

lots to do and see here and many Seattle favorite restaurants call this hood home. Currently love the Marination brick and morter for cheap eats!

We had found a store on Capital Hill that we loved and went back to find it closed. We decided to walk up and down the avenue and found that it was basically not interesting restaurants, and there was very little shopping. There was a somewhat sleazy feel to the area. There are far more interesting neighborhoods in Seattle. My... More

If you're into people watching and enjoy all things eccentric, head for Capitol Hill. Not too fond of it, just a lot of weird people wandering around.

Nice to wander around and shop. Easy to find a place to eat or a bar to pop into for a drink. Good grocers too.

So, it is not the Castro, but it is a neat place to walk around. Lots of ethnic foods and not nearly as expensive as downtown. Close by as well. 5 minute drive. Should go for a meal.
