Lake Union is beautiful and fun to kayak but rent from somewhere else. Moss Bay has inferior kayaks and inattentive staff. My boyfriend and I recently went here and rented kayaks. We were there with a large group and before we went out on the water the staff told us there would be one staff member at the front and... More

We rented kayaks and paddled over to Ivars for lunch. Unexpected and fantastic way to spend the afternoon with the kids. 14 year old was in his own kayak (no experience), my 8 year old and I paddled in a double, with my 4 year old on a jump seat in front of me. Everyone had a blast!
