Aside from the grumpy front desk person, our visit here was a highlight of our time in Anchorage. Being from the Pacific, I went into this cultural center with a critical eye. I thoroughly enjoyed the format of the exhibits and the use of youth as cultural hosts is refreshing and heartening. I took my two children, ages 12 and 18 to the Center in June 2007. It was among the highlights of our two-week Alaskan adventure. The children loved the dances and villages. They usually bore easily, but not at this place. Wonderful. more
