We had the pleasure of seeing the Broadway hit Rock of Ages at the center. Every seat was an excellent seat and the sound was fantastic. Word of caution, the handicapped entrance is not readily evident, there are very steep stairs.

The PAC is well known for its wide variety of muscial productions, symphony, dance productions and plays. I have never attended any performance that was not extremely well done. Well-known artists and entertainment figures come up to Alaska and provide excellent shows that can be found in larger cities.

The carpet could send you on a trip. Do not sit in the balcony row at the edge, there is no toe room. Some great events and some ho hum events. But it is a way to fight of the winter blues.

We saw Holst and Mozart at the PAC and loved the performance. I was genuinely impressed with the layout of the theater, the accessibility, customer service, volunteer coordination and ease to purchase tickets. The Anchorage Symphony was really quite good. I had never seen The Planets performed live and was prepared to be underwhelmed, but it was a lovely presentation.... More

The building itself has had some "history." Cost overruns, messed up roof, goofy carpet & lights. Overall, nice place & they do get some good shows...others are just plain awful. It's all a matter of taste. I can't even remember that last one I got dragged to....I didn't think it was that great.

I've seen many Broadway shows here, and most recently The Blue Man group. Every Thanksgiving they have the Nutcracker. They also have local performers put on plays and shows. I've never had a bad seat in the house either.

We go to the PAC frequently and are always pleased with the variety of events hey have during a season. The sound quality is not the best; bit it is passable.

Nice facility. Nice theaters with good sound and seats. Friendly volunteers staffing, and friendly helpful staff when they are needed for helping with ticket issues. Alaska Center for the Performing Arts is where most of my yearly local entertainment funds go. I think it is the best thing about Anchorage. They bring light to the long dark winters!

A gem in Anchorage, it brings a lot of needed art and class to a city that could really use it! I spend a lot of time here in the winter and love the employees and the shows.
