A very easy walk, plenty of animals from around the world and the animals all were active and very well taken care of. The zoo is also in a very nice, quiet location on the east shore of lake springfield.

Nice zoo for small children. Older children get bored quickly

This is a nice zoo, but was just too small for our liking.

While the zoo is small, it has many wonderful exhibits! The zoo is well maintained and offers alot for the Springfield area.

It's not a large zoo but it is nice. The animals are closer to you as you walk through this well-maintained zoo. Great for kids!!

When the kids are little it is hard to get them away from the zoo's play area. One time after paying admission that is the only thing we did...they had a great day and the weather was nice. When they have special days out there the crowds are big so this was great and who knows next time we might... More

The cages and pens are entirely too small for the animals trapped inside them. It's truly sad to see them pace anxiously back and forth across the back fence. I don't have a problem with zoos, but I do have a problem with inadequate facilities.

Henson Robinson Zoo is small. Not what you would expect in a zoo located in a capitol city. They are working on renovations and updating the old, tired exhibits. We prefer the Scoville Zoo in Decatur.

What kid doesn't like a Zoo! This is a great Petting Zoo. At Halloween it is a Fear-o-cious time with the animals. Safe Halloween time for all of the kids/
