I've never really considered myself an architecture nerd, but I've heard of Frank Lloyd Wright, and had no idea what to expect going in. The tour of the house was very well-done. I was fascinated by the sheer size of the house and all of the detail. Detail after detail throughout the tour continued to surprise and impress. The property... More

This Frank Lloyd Wright house was way ahead of its time in 1904 and is still visionary today. The volunteers and docents are familiar with every detail of the building and present its history in a most entertaining manner. Don't miss it.

An early and nearly complete Frank Lloyd Wright home of incredible beauty. Has many of the original Wright designed furniture, light fixtures, glasswork and some sculpture. It was spectacular and a bargain for the suggested $5 donation.

One of the most unique and beautiful homes of this period that I have ever seen. Don't bring little kids though. The tour takes at least an hour, and when your kids get bored, tehy're going to want to sit on something. A $100,000 Frank Lloyd Wright original couch is not the best place for that, apparently. (Not that my... More

I am not a fan of architectural sites however even for the novice such as myself the Dana Thomas house is worth the time. My husband and I caught the last tour on a Saturday afternoon. It ended up being a private tour as no one else arrived to tour this gem. This place is so cool. Wright was a... More

Humoring my mother who is a huge FLW fan, I agreed to go through the house. This was somewhat made easier since she was paying my way. However, by the time I got done, I felt like I should pay her back. The tour was very interesting and informative and I came away with a new understanding and appreciation of... More
