The Blue Lagoon is what it says. It is a huge sparse of heated water which is a pleasant blue. The whole experience was relaxing an, honestly, I would not have missed it, but bring your own towel and do not upgrade. We upgraded to the towel with robe. It came with a complimentary drink and some algae face mask... More

This is an experience I very much enjoyed. It's not a dramatic thing, basically it's like an outdoor pool with a weird smell - but it's so cool. You can move around and feel the water growing warmer and cooler. If you go in winter, you can sit outdoors in the cold and snow and be cosy and warm. They... More

On our way to airport, we stopped by to peek this place. We did not have time to soak but wanted to see what is like... You can see this free! There are walk way around the edge of mysterious milky baby blue water lake. It is located behind of Geothermal plant. The actual spa is separated from outside lake... More

Blue Lagoon is a must see, even just to say you saw it. The water was lovely. The water was a good bathing temperature, and includes a super steamy sauna that I couldn't handle, but the new hubby loved. We got plush bathrobes and towel. You get a bracelet to buy drinks with, as well as locking your locker. The... More

An amazing experience. I spent a whole day at the Blue Lagoon and treated myself to an in water scrub and massage. The massage was out of this world and I have never experienced anything like it! The cost was expensive at 120 euros....but worth every single penny and I would definitely pay it again! We also ate in the... More

AN expensive but excellent trip to the geothermal springs of the Blue Lagoon. Book in advance to save on admission fees and avoid queuing at peak times. Bring your own towel, hire of bath robes very expensive. Free cold water and relaxation on reclining beds on the first level. don't be put off if someone offers to take your photo... More

One of the most prominent and unique Icelandic attractions, the Blue Lagoon is close to the International Airport and it is usual to visit on the way to or from your flight. This is not a cute little hot spring, it is a big business park. The size of the car-park gives the game away and there is a bus... More

You must go here, if in Iceland, a wonderful experience, we went and it was wet and cold, but it did not spoil our enjoyment, we stayed in the warm water for an hour, if you hit a hot spot-heaven! We booked on line before we travelled and walked straight in. Don't be shy about showering naked, everyone does it!

I felt totally ripped off after our visit to the Blue Lagoon. It is crazy expensive 40 euros a person and that doesn't even give you a towel. A rented towel is 5 euros and mine was stolen. There are bars in the pool area so there are some plastic glasses on the bottom which you can walk over. The... More

Freezing cold ouside with heavy mist. Then imerse yourself in natural hot waters, cover your face in the natural clay, grab yourself a green slimy health drink....fabulous . It does relieve all aches & pains. Lovely hotel on site, treatments available outside...really weird. You can hire everything there like towels & robes, otherwise take them with you. Showers & lockers... More
