very beatiful. You can have a walk but I would recommend taking a boat and seeing it from the sea. You can reach little lonely beaches, swim in the crystal clear water with colorful fish. Fantastic view..

After the drive from Palermo to Scopello and the picture of unbridled urbanism that that offered, it was a relief to be able to hike on easy paths in a preserved natural environment. The wild gladioli, pansies, and orchids were lovely to see, also the giant fennel, ferula communis, and the greenness of the slopes. The Cala Capreria is a... More

I went in Easter and there was almost nobody there. I'm guessing from the photos it's a different story in summer, but it's utterly beautiful, and with a little (very pleasant) walking you can get a little beach with crystal clear water almost all to yourself.

On a hot day the walking is tough, demanding an initial climb of some magnitude. It is a wild and beautiful place with fantastic views. In the end you can descend to the coast for swimming. This was the first nature reserve in Sicily. Walks are best from the south entrance a relatively short journey from the hotel. The north... More

Nice place in sicily for a 2hour one way walk over a well maintained path, almost exotic atmosphere and marvellous colours (green plants and red ground) and views over the sea and kliffs. chill picknick area and totally worth the 3 euro pay because they really take care of this nature piece and no garbage, almost unique in sicily. really... My boyfriend and I (both in our late 20s) visited the Lo Zingaro whilst staying in Scopello in early September 2011. This was hands down one of the best, if not the best, thing we did whilst touring Sicily for two weeks. To put in to context we visited Scopello, Cefalu, Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli and Taormina. You pay 3 euros... More
