Its a nice drive, showcasing beautiful homes and post-Civil War monuments throughout the length of the drive. The old cobblestone road toward the end is really cool too.

Easy to view this avenue when visiting a lot of the other historical sites and museums. Beautiful homes along the avenue as well as the monuments.

I'm a big runner and have run on Monument Ave at least 500 times and that's probably on the low end. If your in Richmond and have a few minutes or a few hours its worth your time to run, walk or drive it. Old & beautiful homes, well landscaped, and lots of statues!

Some great sculptures all the way up the Avenue. Plan to stop and get out of your car every couple of blocks and take a lot of pix. Just watch out for traffic.

The best way to see all of the beautiful homes and monuments is to run the 10K. The most fun run in the nation!
