This entire park is quite large, lots of room to play, with a great kids playground, and a short walk to the historical area, museum and fields with animals.

I took my children, ages 2, 5, and 12, to the Meadow Farm Museum. We absolutely loved it! They could run wild on the trails and through the grass. They got to see the animals up close including sheep, chickens, a turkey, hogs (named George and Martha as they came from Mount Vernon), cows, horses, and sheep. We also saw...

Bring a picnic! There's a huge playground near the entrance, and a pond for fishing. The big attraction here is the working farm and farmhouse. There are lots of farm animals to see (cows, pigs, sheep, turkeys, horses, BUNCHES of barn kitties). The main house holds tours sporadically throughout the year, where you will learn about life as a farmer...
