Arnaldo Caprai put Sagrantino on the map and the winery continues to put out some excellent vintages. There is a wonderful showroom where Caprai has teamed up with Cruciani, a premier cahmere merchant. Pay them a visit and bring your credit card and a check book. You will be sure to find something that you will like!

Loved the spacious tasting area - and their delicious olive oil on the bruschetta to go along with the wine! Enjoyed a fabulous meal with chef Salvatore too - highly recommended!

Maybe the other reviewer lucked out, but we were charged 15 euro per person for the tasting and tour and thought it was a good value. We had booked ahead for our party of 9, tasted 4 wines and were given meat and cheese in addition to the bread and olive oil. It was a lovely day and the tour...

Variety of excellent wines from the developer of the Sagrantino grape variety in the 1970's--it's now world-renowned. If you like wine & go to Montefalco, you have to stop here!
