The Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum is an interesting overview of Carter's presidency and the issues he dealt with in office - Iran hostages, Middle East peace, energy policy, etc. It seems like all the exhibits were developed when the museum was opened and have not been updated since then. I found the displays lit very poorly and hard to read.... more

This attraction really needs a massive overhaul to reflect President Carter's tireless efforts with Habitat for Humanity, his many peace missions and his novel writing. It gives a good understanding of the political process from running for president, inheriting any crisis the former president may have left, the challenges during your 4 years and then the process of trying to run for re-election while running the country. With Carter,... more

I toured the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. I did not think he was a good president but I was 13 when Gritz and Fritz were elected so this was very interesting to me. I got there in time to spend 2 hours before they closed at 4:45 PM. Lots of items and pictures from Jimmy’s childhood, early political races and... more
