We loved this site - the Visitor's Center provides a free movie (narrated by the famous artist who's renderings of the days' events are invaluable). The rangers are helpful and friendly, and the site itself is beautiful in addition to the important historical value. The park also includes lots of buildings and sites along the trail between Lexington and Concord... more

This was one of the best things on my recent visit to New England. Visiting the sights along this road were chilling and exciting at the same time. To see where our independence and freedom started was amazing. more

One of the best parts of this park is the visitor center which includes a fantastic multimedia theater program of the story of Lexington and Concord. It includes several movie screens, lights, a lit map of the progress of the battle and more. I was in a room with a 2nd grade class and they were riveted. The rangers were... more

We visited Minuteman National Park one day during the week (June 26th). We had a great time and I was impresssed with the park since I last visited. One nice thing is the sites in the park are nearly all free so families on a budget this is a great trip to do. There are also lots of nice biking... more

October 6, 2007 We had a fantastic time in both Lexington and Concord. We learned so many interesting historical facts (many misconceptions were taught in school and I'm a teacher!). It's enlightening and humbling to walk the ground where our nation first declared it's own independence. Make sure to catch the presentation in the visitor center. There are picnic tables... more

Beautiful Park! They have just started an audio tour service that uses your cell phone! Very easy to use and tour fee helps the park. They have a very entertaining presentation of Paul Revere's midnight ride, the battle at North Bridge and other sites along the park - highly recommended. More info at (--) more

I chaperone a prep school tour to boston/concord/lexington each year and minuteman was always a good take but the Fed'l government has laid off 2/3 of the rangers here..very disappointing as they were a very interesting and educated group of dedicated people. Fortunately we were able to hook up with a retired teacher from Concord who runs his own one... more

I love coming to this historic park, where the American revolution began. You can walk the same road the British retreated back to Boston on, and see the site where Paul Revere was caught. Lots of open space. Also be sure to see the bridge where the standoff between patriot farmers and the British army first took place. It's as... more
