Fort Verde State Park is a little gem. Park Ranger Marjorie was very knowledgeable and friendly. The buildings that are still standing have been furnished by the local historic society but not structurally restored, so you can see the original interior and exterior walls, flooring, stairs, etc. Good walking tour.
