Great place to see live performances. Morristown offers many great pre- and post-show options for food, drink and treats.

This is a little venue that performs like the big guys-excellent names, decent prices, and professional management. Parking is not bad, and there are dozens of restaurants and ice cream parlors within easy walking distance so you can park once and spend the evening. Have been often and it is my go to for quality entertainment. I highly recommend it!

We have been to many concerts and shows at the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts. The venue is clean, well laid out, and has lots of charm. Accessible for those that need it. The children's show are great and my son has loved each and every one, the last being the Magic School Bus in March. My husband and... More

We take our grandchildren to at least three shows every year and we do a few concerts ourselves. We have never been disappointed with the quality of the performances. Plus, the theater is located in the heart of Morristown with lots of good restaurants in the area.

Nice venue, not too big or too small for jazz quartet. Parking e-zee too. Priced right, orgainzed and professional staff.

We saw Mary Chapin Carpenter and Carrie Newcomer there., The venue is lovely with good acoustics. It's not so big, so you'll get a good view of the show. I just wish they had more acts I'd like to see, because I really liked the place and would like to go back there. Parking is a tad tight, but doable.

The original theater has been lovingly restored, all the seats have great views, and the parking is quite convenient. They offer many great shows here for all ages to enjoy. It is a very nice introduction to the theater for young children and the adults can enjoy the comfort of the theater and the refreshment area.

I've been going to the Mayo Center for the Performing Arts (formerly known as the Community Theatre) since it reopened thanks to a group of volunteers. It has received grants, had a major capital campaign and really made a wonderful place to go. The box office is a delight to work with and the ushers and bar staff are all... More

Beautiful restoration of a rescued movie theater with a very varied calendar from classical music to community events to headliners (usually slightly past prime) on the circuit. Can be expensive, look for discounts. Don't automatically avoid the balcony. The lower seats are very good.

Well, what can I say? Mayo just has an outstanding program and it's definitely worthwhile going there to enjoy a show and soak up the special (& classic) atmosphere of this theater.
