This is an ideal place for level walking and for watching birds on the water and making their nests. I find myself here a lot,i go walks,runs n picnics round here. I come here on my own or with friends x i love the outdoors

Lovely walk in good weather. Staff in cafeteria could be nicer. Maybe they're getting their money too easy. Local authority employees? Ducks geese and swans will chase you if you run away with bread still clutching in your hands. Swings for children good. Nice place to visit. Drumpellier Country Park lies between Coatbridge & Glasgow. As i live locally i have been going there sinceIi was a child. lovely place for a walk going round what we fondly called the lochs very well kept and cared for, even on a cold wet day! lovely wee tearoom, cosy and food was well prepared and hot staff very nice, lots of info available

I have been going here for nigh on 30 years. The pla facilities look good for kids but it always seems dirty and crawling with people. Parking is difficult due to weight of numbers. Great for kid as there is a massive play area but also good if you like a good walk... would recommend going in the summer though as its freezing in the winter
