“Liverpool's Gem”

This is a beautiful, well kept waterfront park with a restored lighthouse. Inside the lighthouse there is a shop selling great souvenirs, many by local artists. The staff in the shop take time to explain the area and the history. Don't miss this one. Highly recommended, and take your camera.

I love this fort. A great place for a picnic. L overly scenery and the inside museum is amazing. The 'what is it' game is great fun.

“Small but worth the time”

Like many Nova Scotia attractions, the lighthouse and keeper's quarters closes the end of September for the season, but do park and walk around the grounds. Good views across the bay, nice gardens, a good place for exercise (pretty well lighted at night) after that lobster dinner.
