We visited Makena, Wailea and Ulua beach...all great beaches. We visited Maui in early August. I would recommend going to the beach in the morning (8am) for snorkeling as it is calm at that time of day. Later in the day the wind kicks up and water gets a litte more rough and it is hard to snorkel around the... more
