It's fun visiting the dozens of food and trinket vendors on Thursday evenings. A very cheap meal too.
Every Thursday night the street along the 'hotel row' in Garapan closes to traffic and becomes its own 'Taste of Saipan"

This is the every Thursday night street market in the asian district and just about everyone within miles turns out for. Local arts and crafts but the big draw is the food. There are a couple of blocks of food vendors selling everything local and asian to eat that you can think of and most everything is $1 an item....

Everything is $1. Walked up and down and tried many foods. Very crowded with locals and tourists. Runs about from 5pm to 9 pm. Really cool. Was Christmas time and local kids doing shows in chammoro was cool. A must see.
