This is a small place, not fancy, but kids will love it. Lots of touch tanks, some sand boxes and really nice and helpful volunteers. If you aren't familiar with the marine life that lives in the area, you will be suprised at what we have in our cold waters. I don't have children, but I have brought my niece... more

If you love marine biology and the tough little life forms that live in tidepools, then this is heaven. If not I don't know what to say. When we visited the marine center the tanks and pools were incredibly clean and filled with all types of marine life. There were at least 6 staff present to educate, answer questions and encourage visitors to learn about marine life - including the microscopic animals visible through microscopes.
