Brigham Young Monument and This is the Place State Park are a must--see. Bring the children---the interactive village takes you back to the 1850's when the first LDS settlers came to Utah from many different countries. The volunteers are all dressed in period costumes. Some of the buildings are original to that time.

This is just an interesting place in downtown Salt Lake City. It only takes a few minutes to see.

These 2 markers indicate the center of Salt Lake City where the directions of streets would start at this point. Interesting if passing it, but would not go out of my way to find it.
