One of four resorts you can ski on the Utah Superpass. Situated in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Solitude is a relatively new resort with fast lifts, fantastic groomed slopes (mostly blue runs) and beautifully appointed facilities. Skiers and boarders welcome. For the more adventurous there are double black diamond runs that are open dependent on mountain conditions. Definitely worth the visit.

small but plenty to ski your heart out with good traffic flow....very quiet town

Love this mountain. Not too big. Good mid-mountain area that allows you to get from one lift to another very easily

This mountain is a great spot for beginners & experts alike. It is small enough to cover in a day but large enough to not become boring over 2-3 days. There is also the Brighton mountain next door; it is better for snowboarding.

Great place to ski. Prices were lowest if bought at ski shops nearby.

The room was very clean. The room exceeded our expectations and the food was very good everywhere we went. The skiing is also wonderful- no lines.

Solitude is one of the smaller resorts in the area. There wasn't much snow around so I didn't get to explore all the terain, it would be a good place to ski for beginners and intermediates.
